Gear System Overview
Gear is unlocked after clearing Legendary III on the Growth Path. Higher starred gear drops from progressing through Chapters and Boar Hunt. Every 30 chapters beaten increases the star rating of gear from chapters by 1 star. You upgrade gear SLOTS, not individual items โ stats stay in the slot when you swap heroes or gear pieces. Do not upgrade temporary gear.
DPS Gear Priority
Focus your main DPS gear set first. Upgrade Weapon and Ring first (highest ATK contribution). Gear upgrades occur in 10-level intervals, refinement in 5-level intervals. Your main carry should be 20-30 gear levels above active supports, and active supports should be 20-30 levels above passive supports.
Rune Builds by Role
DPS: 4x Unshaken Will + 2x Illusive Flurry (farm Frostbear Hollow). Support: 6x Divine Revival (farm Eroded Tomb) or 4x Endless Bloom + 2x Divine Revival for SW. Healers: 4x Divine Grace + 2x Arcane Flood for Seraph (farm Stormfang Nest). Tanks: HP/DEF focused sets. Always prioritize percentage-based rune stats over flat stats.
Hero-Specific Builds
Starlight Weaver: 4x Endless Bloom + 2x Divine Revival, high sigil priority. Polar Captain: 4x Unshaken Will + 2x Illusive Flurry. Frost Lich: 6x Divine Revival. Aegis/Archon Armor: max HP runes (shield scales off HP). Seraph: 4x Divine Grace + 2x Arcane Flood, stack ATK gear (healing scales off ATK). Robot: DO NOT stack CRIT rate โ he guarantees crit on every hit.
EX Weapons
Exclusive Weapons unlock at 3 Star for Mythic heroes and 4 Star for Xeno heroes. EX Weapons grant additional DMG bonus at levels 60, 70, 80, 90, and 100. Primal and Energy glyphs can be fused or salvaged at a 6:1 ratio. EX weapons are a big damage boost compared to normal weapons, especially early game. Both glyph types are available in Guild Shop.
Artifact & Treasure
Treasure Smart Fusion lets you fuse with one click up to target rarity. Collection Hall passives stack significantly at higher counts โ farm collection items from relevant modes. Do not neglect Emblem and Inscription upgrades once you reach mid-game. These provide hidden stat bonuses that compound over time.
