Card Draft Basics

Shared Card Pool

Your team shares one card pool. Fewer heroes = more concentrated draws = stronger upgrades.

Draw Counts

3 heroes: 25 draws / 36-card pool. 4 heroes: 28 draws / 48-card pool. 5 heroes: 30 draws / 60-card pool.

XP Multipliers

3 heroes = 1.8x XP, 4 heroes = 2.0x, 5 heroes = higher but diluted. 3-hero draft is optimal for advanced content.

Card Types

Active Skills

Triggered skills with cooldowns. Each hero has unique actives that define their playstyle.

Passive Skills

Always-on effects. Often define a hero's true power (e.g., PD's crit buff, SR's ATK-stack).

Evolution Cards

Blue/purple cards that only appear after 3 upgrade cards for a hero. Higher draw weight than gray cards.

Chain Cards

Invisible in the pool — only appear after drawing a specific prerequisite card. Not labeled; learned through experience.

Advanced Mechanics

Link Skill Pollution

Having two heroes with active link skills both adds their cards to the pool, diluting your primary DPS draws.

Reroll Strategy

Use rerolls early to find evolution cards OR save for when all 3 options are bad. Don't waste rerolls on mediocre picks.

Pool Concentration

3-hero teams (25 draws / 36 cards) give the best concentrated power. 5-hero teams (30 draws / 60 cards) dilute upgrades.

Slot Leveling

You level up the SLOT, not the hero. Gear stays on the slot when heroes swap. No wasted EXP if you change heroes.

Key Skill Rules from the KB

  • â€ĸ Slot leveling: You level the SLOT, not the hero. Gear stays on the slot. No wasted EXP.
  • â€ĸ Don't use Quick Equip. It prioritizes raw stats, not role-appropriate stats. Equip manually.
  • â€ĸ Defense stats are useless. 92% DEF ≈ 2% damage reduction. Build ATK/CRIT DMG/Element DMG.
  • â€ĸ 3x speed bug: 3x speed deals LESS damage than 1x on bosses. Use 1x for boss phases.
  • â€ĸ 3-hero draft = best for advanced content.
  • â€ĸ Frontline fillers in Boss Challenge should wear WEAKEST gear so they die fast, concentrating heals on core 3.
