Verified team compositions for Wittle Defender. Each team is built around proven element synergies and hero combo mechanics from the knowledge base.
Team Building Rules
- âĸ Run 3+ same element for +10% DMG and +10% HP team buff
- âĸ Xeno heroes count as +1 to any element â SW, VW, PK, MK flex into any team
- âĸ 3-4 heroes optimal for advanced content (concentrated card pool). 5 heroes only early game.
- âĸ Starlight Weaver mandatory in every team, no exceptions.
- âĸ Position: Center â Bottom-right â Bottom-left â Top-right â Top-left
- âĸ Bosses target front heroes more â tanks in front, DPS in back.
Ice Core â PC + Lich
AdvancedPvE Campaign, Nightmare, Abyss CrusadeThe #1 PvE composition. Mandatory pairing.

Tank â Tentacles triggered by Lich summons
Summoner â Summons trigger PC tentacles â must pair
Buffer â Mandatory in every team
DPS â Only works in this comp. PC + Lich required.
DPS / Buffer â 1D = party-wide crit. Best 5th slot.

- âĸ Lich: SPD for faster summon cycles

Don't put NT in any other team. Lich + PC is non-negotiable.

- âĸ DS is a free placeholder â swap for better fire DPS later
SR dies fast if HP drops below 50%. Don't pair with self-damage effects.

Tank / Summoner â Troll army tanks bosses and mobs
Healer â Free. Heals everyone. Replace mid-game.
DPS â Free first Mythic. Falls off past 1D.
Flex DPS â Ice element synergy. Swap for Ice Queen when available.
Flex DPS â Fire element adds +10% team buff with Ice Demon. Swap for Blazing Archer when available.

Gear Focus
- âĸ ID: HP/DEF for summon duration
- âĸ Seraph: HP/SPD for healing frequency
- âĸ DS: ATK/CRIT DMG while useful
- âĸ Ice Demon summons tank all frontline damage
- âĸ Seraph keeps everyone alive â mandatory until Lyra/Cheffy
- âĸ DS carries DPS until you pull a better Mythic
Don't over-invest in Seraph or DS â both get replaced. Save resources for your endgame carry.
